FOR A CLEANER PLANET

Okay, everyone, so we'll now talk about recycling. I know you all recycle a lot of things, but we need to recycle more and consume less. Plastic bags, for example. Every time we go shopping we get new plastic bags, and sometimes we throw them away. Do you know that a plastic bags can take up to 1,000 years to degrade? That's it, a millennium! Impressed? Oh yes, that's a worrying number. And diapers are the same. Scientists say that one diaper takes more than 100 years to degrade, that is, they will be around much after the “baby” is gone. Do you want another impressive number? Number ONE it is! Do you know why? Because by recycling ONE single aluminium can it is possible to save enough energy to watch TV for THREE hours. Yes, the name of the game now is the 3 R's. Reduce, reuse, recycle. And that means we'll all have a cleaner planet.
